The avast always experiencing disk problems is a common issue that can hinder the performance of your PC. The antivirus software is able to perform regular operations, such as qualification scanning, computer system deciphering, and laptop or computer cleaning, which can use up a lot of memory. Nonetheless, there are a few methods to fix this problem, such as checking for viruses, resetting virtual memory and performing a clean boot. You can also disable the background scanning and change the frequency of scans.

You could also try disabling automatic updates to your program. This will stop your computer from installing and downloading new features that could cause the processing of the CPU or the disk to spike. You can access the Avast interface by clicking its icon in the tray in your system, or clicking on the Commence menu. Click on the Settings icon, then choose Components. Select the component that consumes too much memory for instance, Avast Cleanup, and then click Uninstall Component. Restart your computer once the process is complete to determine if the issue persists.

Another alternative is to disable Avast’s core shields, which is active in real time and can take up a significant amount memory. This can be done by clicking on the Avast icon in your tray and then selecting Adjustments. Then, click on the Protection tab and scroll down to the Core Shields section. Uncheck every option in this tab and then click Finish. You can also delete temporary data files from your hard drive to free space.
