Donors Help us Create Opportunities for
Self-Discovery and Success

Women Wonder Writers is grateful to the institutions, organizations, and individuals who have supported us in our mission. Our biggest wins come at the crossroads of compassion and collaboration. These collaborations are critical for consistent service, so any child, young adult, or adult, and their families experiencing hardship, has access to resiliency building resources that will positively impact their personal, academic, and professional development. If you would like to be a part of a group of professionals and youth leaders dedicated to making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Your donation will support up to 30 students for The Write of Your L!fe™, a 12-week peer-support, cultural arts mentoring program meeting once weekly for two hours with a certified trauma-informed and trained instructor. The program is designed to build resiliency in youth impacted by trauma. This includes instruction, custom youth anthologies, supplies, cultural food snacks and a graduation celebration.

Your donation covers custom youth anthologies for up to 30 students, including publishing, printing and delivery of anthologies to each youth so they have a keepsake of their own personal writings at the conclusion of The Write of Your L!fe, a 12-week group mentoring program building resiliency in youth impacted by trauma.

Food teaches youth about world culture and builds tolerance. Your donation will help support snacks during The Write of Your L!fe programming and spark discussion of the origins of foods and snacks from around the world.

Your donation will sponsor 30 supply kits for The Write of Your L!fe students, each containing a journal, paints, canvas, pen and other writing and painting supplies.

Your donation will provide a student journal containing curriculum lessons to an enrolled student in The Write of Your L!fe, which promotes critical thinking, expression, resilience, and empathy.

Help us reach our 1,000 Ribbon at the Mic goal bringing awareness to combat sexual assault at HALT THE ASSAULT, our Spoken Word event in April, during sexual assault awareness month.

Women Wonder Writers has been fortunate enough to have partners who share our values to innovate and adapt our programs to reach more individuals, tailored even more to their individual needs. They have supported our cultural arts and restorative justice programs by providing us sites to reach more students at risk of trauma or those at risk of being involved in, or already impacted by, the criminal justice system.

Riverside County Office of Education has been instrumental in this, reliably providing us with sites in detention centers and alternative schools. Inlandia Institute, the leading literary art provider in the Inland Empire, has consistently connected The Write of Your L!fe™ with more guest artists to aid in mentorship and arts education. Our partners have funded art supplies, helped coordinate our parental engagement offerings, and much more.
