What is the key to a healthy and successful relationship?
Signed, Wondering
Dear Wondering,
There is no exact key or formula for a healthy and successful relationship. There are a few ingredients that when mixed together can help you and your partner create a relationship that is healthy and successful. Communication and trust are very important. You must be able to trust each other and be able to have open communication. You have to be able to open up to your partner and be able to talk about any differences that come up. Your partner should be able to trust you and know that that their secrets are safe. Honesty and respect are also very important. If you are both honest with each other, then you know you have trust. The same goes for respect, your partner will respect you, if you have respect for yourself. It is also a good idea to give each other some personal space every now and then, it could be letting him enjoy Monday night football with his buds, or you having a girls night out. But most of all, you need to yourself and have a relationship that has plenty of laughter and happiness.
Sincerely,
